C'mon folks, this is never gonna fly unless we get to know each other a little better?
I'm fast and ride a medieval bike made mostly from cable ties and gaffer tape! What about you lot? @kellyjo, if you can't make one single weekend, sell the bike to someone who'll use it! ![]() This post brought to you by beer! |

You old git! Kids forgive a multitude of sins! A good days riding is good for the soul, so god will add it to the end of your life! A good days biking beats a good days work every time! (Kevin Bloody Wilson) We need codger style riders to keep us 30 somethings from killing ourselves!

Here goes, I'm 37 yrs, live in Norwich although I've been about a little, lived in Fiji for 3 yrs.
I only got my bike licence late 2010, nearly lost it last year after I got the SMT, it's a good job the new driver act rules work on 6 pts... ![]() I work full time in the IT game too. I'm currently working from home every other week and commuting and stopping over in Birmingham the rest of the time. Next contract will be based in Norwich again if I can help it. And yes, having some sensible riders around would be a good thing! The EAR gang are good to ride with to be fair, steady paced but not mental. Bring on the ride outs! edit: I'm guessing I was a bit late posting ![]()

Bog off Thunderace, its my bike and im not selling it!!!
![]() Ive been riding three and a half years, all year round and have no intention of stopping, but with the way things are its difficult to get time on the bike, but that doesnt mean things will always be this way. FYI im a single mum with three young kids. The weekends they are with their dad I have to work to keep me off Income Support, the weekends they are with me I am not prepared to get other people looking after them so I can ride for pleasure, my kids need me and I am there for them. Id rather be a good mum with a few miles on the bike than clock up the miles and not be there. If I had a partner and had the kids all the time things would be different, but if i'd stayed in that situation I would never have learnt to ride. It kills me that the bike is sitting there virtually unridden and the longer I am off it the less confident I will be when I do get time to ride, but it would kill me more to look back and think I didnt give my kids 100%. |
