side stand, yes or how are you supposed to park it up
if the switch is there it must be active e.g. lights including flash, side, lo and high beam. this also includes indicators. no lights then daytime only MOT. number plate light and registration plate. both front and rear brake light switches have to be working. |

I believe you need a rear brake light, horn and number plate and that's about it.
Don't think the sidestand is needed per se but it will be a pain in the *rse without one.

All wiring and switchgear still in place so easy to fit some, plus I work shifts so if I go to work on it at least one way will be in dark. Reason I ask about both brakes working the lamp is I have rearsets on with no switch provision. I know I can get an inline one but do I NEED to? I could leave lowers off and fit stand I suppose but generally lean bar end on a wall in gear when not on paddock stands. What about mirrors and pegs?? Ps, like how you use 'per se' and 'pain in the *rse' in same sentence Chris.lol

number plate light came under construction and use regs, not MOT. Dunno if thats changed recently. wouldnt fail an mot, but plod might give you a tug.

Will have one, I've found an 'E' marked rear led unit on eBay combining stop/tail/no.plate in one.

You don't need rear pegs if no rear seat is fitted. Mine has passed MOT's at two stations with fixed front pegs ( Gilles ). Why do you think this may fail it ?
