Default Flat bar conversion - who's done it?

Just out of interest, as it seems a lot on here have ditched the clip-ons. Who has done the conversion?

It was the best modification I ever did, turned my bike from a painful horror into a glorious day long pleasure machine and hooligan. Still got the fairing and run a Renthal with 4 inch risers. Needed a bit of work doing to make it all fit, but it seriously was worth ever second of effort.

Couldn't agree more, although I might want a extra inch now, who doesn't, right?

I've got loads of slack in all the cables, so rising further will be a 10min job.

Nearly 50/50 on the response so far.

My throttle cables and brake lines have plenty of slack but my clutch cable has hardly any. I routed it differently which has made a difference but still couldn't go another inch. Have you used a DL650 clutch cable?
Mine came as a complete conversion kit with different top yoke etc so not sure if the DL cable would be longer or not, will have to research a bit.

I used a DL650 clutch cable and it works just fine. PLenty of slack even with a huge lift and layback on my bars.

No need for flat bar conversion, with my Gilles Variobars, keep the clip on look with the comfort of flat bars.

Saves finding a naked top yoke or going to Matt Yokes
