Bought this last year but I have now upgraded. It's a really good card, never had any problems with it. £40
It's this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...odid=GX-294-SP |

I've got a 750W PSU but that's way over the top for that card. I don't think it will need that much
edit Just to add, I've now got a 3GB card that requires two dedicated power supplies. The one I'm selling is powered from the motherboard so doesn't use much Last edited by DarrenSV650S; 18-08-13 at 05:31 PM. |

A CX500M is more than enough to run that card. AMD recommend a 400W at the least and a 500W for Crossfire so you should be fine.
Garrys Mod running badly is most likely your current card which isn't really a gaming orientated card. I'm running a Core i5, and GTX660Ti on a 650W and I there's plenty of headroom on the PSU. £40 isn't to bad either and the 7750 will be a good upgrade for you. Not sure why you kept getting power surges with the 7770 either as a 500W PSU should easily be able to run that card? Last edited by Dunn-y; 19-08-13 at 08:13 PM. |
