Could be interested in these.
What is .85 rating. ? Is it stiff or soft ( Ooerr missus ). Mine are still OEM and have little damping so I'm guessing they'd improve the front end anyway. Also what oil did you use with them.

.85 are for 10-12st rider. at 10st they would be a tiny bit firm and at 12st they are a tiny bit soft. standard springs are .70 and as such are good for around 8st rider.

with a rider of between 10-12st you just set the bike sag as the rider sag will fall to where it should be.

Great stuff Bibio. Me being 11st they should be spot on.
Front end at the minute is very soft with little or no damping. Mind I don't know if the oil has ever been changed so I'd expect some improvement.

i would personally weld the rebound holes up and put RSF 10w in. the more you increase the spring rate the more the bike wants to 'pop' on rebound. increasing the oil viscosity to cure rebound makes the compression too slow (hard) which gives a rough ride. welding the rebound holes up lets you use lighter oil giving a smoother ride and better dampening.
