95% certain of buying a new SV AL7 today 😁
Right, I've had to think hard. I've been without a bike for a short while now, first time in over 10 years. I was going to leave it until the new year and had been looking at a naked gen 2 second hand. I went to a dealers yesterday to have a little nose as you do , I noticed a new 2016 SV, dealer demo bike in Matt black, 418 miles, 16 plate, doesn't look like they've had it in the wet at all, other than a rear tyre that has a very slight squaring, massive chicken strips, the bike is mint. Now I like the white with blue wheels but and here's the but, I can have it on the road for 4,495, 3 year warranty, first service will be done so book stamped. I actually left a 50 quid deposit to keep it until this morning while I get myself into 100% certain mode it's the cheapest in the country from searching. Question is, do I stick to the original plan and maybe wait out the winter or do I strike while the irons hot as it will still be worth 4.5k in April ?

Yes the seat, lol, it's like a plank, can see that already. I'm hearing rumours from some sources that new bike prices may rise by 10% next year but there rumours from dealers and they have bikes to sell this time of year. 1 has said it won't effect them as they buy there bikes in dollars, that doesn't make sense to me though as we've lost a lot of value against the dollar. Do you have any recommendations for a seat ? I need the height as it is really, short **** here seems like a good deal to me regardless of the colour, can always add a decal set and rim tape to offset the all black look. I'll let you know later

I test rode one and miles better than my K3. List new with ABS is £5500, and £5000 without so £4500 for a nearly new is a good price.

It's a bargain. I bought the black simply because I had never had a all black bike. It has grown on me and with the right add on's I now think it looks superb.

I've bought it, ended up costing me 4,455 quid, still has 2 years and 7 months warranty, happy bunny, just have to wait for it to go through the workshop and done
