Hello everyone. I was considering buying a 2001 1st gen SV650 as a cheap run around. I have seen some great looking Lucky Strike aftermarket Chinese fairings and reckon these would look great. My question is does anyone have an idea if the tank is a cover/ shroud. Is there a cover on the originals or would this just overlay the current tank? :confused

Looks like it just sits on top of the standard tank.
Don't expect good quality or easy fitment from these types of things |

Most Chinese aftermarket fairings are a bitch to fit properly as Darren says get familiar with a dremel.

The fairings don't fit good. Better off wrapping the tank and going with track fairings and getting creative with the lights.
