It seems like there's 3 real choices for bungs (for an old shape)- R&G, bikeSliders, and the new Motrax DHMs. Since I've proved myself desperately in need of a set (or a bumper car bumper) and my old ones are utterly worthless, which ones do y'all reckon I should go for?
R&G are tried and tested, but it seems occasionally found wanting (was impressed by the way they'd held up for Scooby Drew). Probably the favourites. Unlikely anyone's crashed the SV DHMs yet, but I assume anyone who's used them had good reasons to buy 'em... And BikeSliders, look a bit mad but seem to do the job. Anyone else I've overlooked? Cheers

Just to bring home, that ALL mushrooms/posts are to save the frame and engine cassings. If they save the body work to, then you are lucky.
I have R&G for what its worth. |

Vinyl, I know that mate, but the ones as fitted stick out only about a cm past the frame! They're the only part of the front end that <didn't> hit the ground... Bigger ones (in a more appropriate place) will at least protect the engine casings...
Thinking about bar-ends too, but the DHM ones are just too ugly ![]()

Well im a newbie to the forum, had a bike crash recently with the R&G crash bungs and they did a nice job protecting my engine, tank and minimized alot of damage. They didnt bend or anything. Just most of the nylon bung was eating away. Highly recommended! :d

Touchy subject I know, but is there not another option that should be in the poll?, I am under the inpression that this manufacturer has sold a sizeable amount of crash bungs
Clue: The name starts with 'J'.
