Well I went and bought one of these lids ( tried shedloads of lids on and only 2 fitted nice) Arai and Caberg the arai condor was nice but the best fit for me was the justissimo.
added bonus flip front & inbuilt sun visor pilot stylee. had a couple fo good runs up to full speed ![]() not the quietest helmet i have owned but comfortable and does not get buffeted to much. another advantage did not have to remove at the petrol station just flifed it. Likewise when i felt like a quick smoke in a layby left lid on flipped front up and puffed away. should the helmet develope any problems i will keep all informed does not mist at 5:30 am even when i try to mist it so all in all a good buy for me anyway. bartered 20 quid off in the local shop as well. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() Another lid worth looking at (if you want a 'flip') is a Shoei Syncrotec 2 ![]() ![]() Apparently, this is the only flip lid on the market which is designed as a full-face helmet that opens & not an open face helmet that has a chin guard... allegidly, much better... But then it does cost £250 |

Cloggsy got it dead on 129.99 the concept is about 280 /290 if you can find it (i could not find a dealer locally to try that or the s1 on. also bluebells hubby has had woes with his shuberth s1 something to do with peeling of the anti mist / scratch visor and it's only 6 months old ![]() so i will stick with the caberg it fits me very well and is comfortable ( and has the added advantage of the pilot style sun shade built in. ![]() |

Its marked E3 052112 051451, but no gold label any ideas? ANyway nice lid but noisy at high speeds. Dan |
