Anyone here got a Remus High level can on a K4?
I am looking to buy the E Marked high Level Remus for my K4. Been quoted £279 for the Stainless and 319 for the Titanium! Is this decent value? Is the can the dogs b0110X or is it mediocre? Alternatively, I can get the Scorpion Stainless Oval high level offering for about £185 - or Carbon for £254 . . . Of course I could go with the Evo, but my priorities are in the following 1) Must be Road Legal 2) Must be high Level Must sounds good The cost is not my major priority, provided the can offers all of the above(though needless to say, I don't have £900 lying around to get a custom underseat job hand made or anything silly like that? |

Look in 'Goodies' on the main site for sound - My bike
![]() Remus cans are GREAT quality being German made. My Revolution is 'E' marked, but it doesn't matter now because as long as the can isn't stamped 'not for road use' it will still pass an MOT ![]() I paid £343 fitted for my Carbon can - Greta value & worth every penny (IMHO) ![]() However, saying that I would like the 'GPR Racing' underseat system (look in the 'Exhausts' threads ![]() ![]() |

Cloggsy . . does the remus actually come in a high level option? I only ask, as your pick seem normal level?
The GPRs are Gorgeous, but at £700, maybe stretching the budget a little? definitely worth a look though . . . Will probably get some prices at the NEC and make a decision then? Thanks for the reply |

Yeah, I had a quote for a high link pipe from a firm recently - I can forward it to you when I'm at home tomorrow (if I've still got it, if you like

I have a high level Grand Prix, and i am happy enough with it. Although i would love a twin Renegade system, but then the grass is always greener.

I have a Remus Grand Prix Hi-level on my VFR, Mrs Patch has one on her VFR and the 1150 GS that I am picking up next weekend also has one.
Quite frankly the best can I've ever fitted. |

Remus is cool.
Okay it's on a K2 but feast your eyes and ears anyway: http://www.bureaunet.com/SV650/images/Remus1.jpg http://www.bureaunet.com/SV650/images/Remus2.jpg http://www.bureaunet.net/Bureaunet/Temp/Remus1.mp3 (Courtesy of Jelster). Road legal? Pah! ![]() . |

Excellent quality and sound. I've got a Grand Prix, alloy wrap, on my k2 in the std position. The high mount option is available for every bike by use of a different link pipe.
Tested at 104dB @ 4500rpm (no restrictor etc.) Other plusses are never having to repack the can and the alloy and carbon wrap cans have stainless internals. |

I had titanium gp ovals on the vtr, build quality was top notch and general fit was as OE which is as good as you can wish for.
Remus deffo get a thumbs up from me if you want to have that extra bit of exclusivety over budget systems. |
