Morning guys & girls
The yellow one has caused me some grief over the last few days - took me ages to start it on Saturday (was worth it though wasn't it beautiful!) & finally bump started it after 4 runs up & down my road. Come Monday when I needed the bike for work the git wouldn't start. The battery needs changing obviously before its garaged for the winter & I was shocked to be quoted £83 for an original battery ![]() ![]() ![]() So the obvious question - where can I get one cheaper? Oh & BTW continue to ride safe all! The Boid

Baldood or Balddood is ya man!
He works in County Batteries, Kirkby-in-Ashfield. Ask for Sean with the SV! I dont know his surname. I got my battery for £30. |

Be aware there are batteries and there are batteries!
![]() http://www.yuasabatteries.com/search.asp the Yuasa item for the early SV650 is YT12-BS, 9.5Ah capacity, and has a cold cranking current of 175Amps. This is also used on the Hyabusa. There is also a Yuasa battery, identical dimensions and terminals, specified for the Honda Deaville among others, YTR9-BS, 8Ah capacity, but only 120Amps cold cranking. |
