For those of you that have a full fairing kit on your bike, how much did you pay?
I got a 2000 "s" model and think I'd like to add the full kit around the engine, esp. during the rainy season. Also, rear huggers. how much and where's good to get them? I might get away with asking Santa for either of the above as i've been a really good boy this year, honest! |

First set of lowers £50 off Ebay, perfect condition black brought in mid winter.
second set off ebay, very bad red paint job, but no damage £30. (had to put in a bit of work sanding all the paint off this set and re-spraying). Cheers Mark.

that reminds me, I've got a set of old shape lowers in blue, with a few scratches on, without brackets.
Anyone want to give me £50 for them? (remember minus brackets) |

The general concensus is to not bother with any of the other manufacturers either, they tend to be less good fits and colour matches. I got mine for £50 but they need spraying and the brackets were very rusty, but they've scrubbed up nice... someone else just got a smashed up set off me as trade for a rear seat and a RHS mirror... As long as you're willing to spray/have them sprayed, you can get them very cheaply.

I'm interested if you are still trying to get rid of them - managed to scratch my LH one to death with a little lowside action about a week after I got my SV. Drop me a line if you can help, steveinbfg@yahoo.co.uk |

I think the current RRP from Suzuki is £274
I ordered mine along with a seat cowl (£76) and smiled sweetly - got them both for £300. Fitting is absolutely p*ss easy. Took me an hour and a half, including time to sit back with a coffee to admire own handywork! |
