Default gaps left after removing grab rail

does anyone know where I can get the little black plastic inserts that cover the gaps left by removing the grab rail when I put my seat cowl on?

They're called saddle shutters, I had a quick look and banditmania was the only place I found straight away. I'll have a further search, but at least you know what you're looking for now

I also found this. Expensive though

It depends on the make of cowl as to wether or not you get the inserts.

The suzuki oem cowl does NOT come with inserts as std.... its only banditmania or make your own....

or get the pyramid one which fills the gaps.... altho its a bit flimsy

Went for the banditmania fillers myself, expensive but look ok

I had a Pyramid one, it was the first thing I bought for my bog standard Black, but found it didn't stnad up to well to having any load on it.
I prefer a tailpack to a tank bag if I don't have much stuff and it never really sat right.

Got a Suzuki cowl now, much sturdier, but didn't notice any gaps as I've left the grab rail on for those times I have a bit of luggage.

If I ever get round to it I s'pose I should get rid of the Pyramid one and stop being a magpie!

Line the whole with tinfoil and splat in a load of some bridging filler, Isopon P38 or something... Wait for it to dry and hoik it out, then sand it down to taste...

Or do what I did and buythe Banditmania ones
