Default Bike height

is the SV650 & S, lower or heiger than the CB500F.
Seat height. I only sat on a SV1000 and found it, more or less the same.

Why training on the CB500F, i found the ride height ok. But would be looking to lower the SV it so a get a good footing. I dont like just putting the tip of my boot on the ground. The way i got arround it on the CB was to move myself a bit of center on the seat to the left.

you can get an official suzuki lowered seat option i think...but the seat is a bit wider as well, which makes it harder to touch floor

might live with it when i get the bike, mabey lower the seat and try lowering the rear shock (is that possable) i dont think i will be trying the SV to the max at the begging. I just dont want to fall off at a realy stupid place like the lights.

I've just put a deposit on a k3 SV650s and they included the lowering kit plus fitting in the deal. They said it would lower it about an inch or so.

The "Mk1" model is about 790-800 I think. I have a 29 inch inside leg and got on with it fine. My GSXR has a seat height of about 810 and it's OK now I've got used to it.

The "gel" seat does give the early SV a lower feeling as it's not quite so wide.
