Hey,
I have sorted out my knowledge on exhausts and have settled on a company... I think. I am looking at an M4 exhaust. Why? I want a highmount and the look they have is what I am looking for. I get to keep the pillion pegs on. I also lie the price. It's cheaper and I am not willing to spend alot of money on a can. I am a student with a part time job... ![]() ![]() Mitch ![]() |

Are you more after looks or sound? If looks, go for the M4. If you want sound, keep looking. I find they sound "tinny". If you want economical go for the 2 brothers system. I believe it is in the $600 CDN range. Not sure about pricing on the M4. Is it comparable?

Hey,
I am looking mainly for looks. But I want it to sound better than stock. Preferably louder too... I've found the can I want at a Canadian site, 2WheelJunkie for ~$500.00 CAD(~£220.00 GBP). Here is the link. Thanks, Mitch |

Those guys are in Oshawa. Good company. The M4 will satisfy your requirements for sure. I assume that is a slip on? A local rider has an SV1000 with M4s on it. There are few things in this world as sweet as a big bore twin with pipes.

Hey,
He also got his can from 2WheelJunkie and said they were great too. Only downfall was the shipping time. I guess they order from the manufacturer, then ship it out. I am in no rush with this snow. I will order in a month or two I am thinking... Mitch |

Honestly, they all sound better than stock. It is just a matter of choice I guess. Have you looked at Hindle? Made right here, and sound sooo sweet. Actually almost too loud. BTW, what time is it there? It's like 3:35am here (night shift worker, if you want to call this working!!

Yeah, you gotta love that 6 month break we are forced to take (except for those British Colombians, lucky *******s!!) Perfect excuse to tinker. Not to mention that we get twice the life out of tires, chains, sprockets, etc. Meh, still not worth losing 6 months of riding time.

Hey,
I looked at Hindle and was considering. But I don't like the look of their highmount. It just didn't do it for me. It wasn't parallel to the rear end of the bike. They sound AMAZING I am sure. Alittle more money mind you... It is currently 2:44 AM, I am not night shift worker. I have school in about 5 hours... ![]() Mitch |
