Ooooo, CCM!! One of my mates has one and loves it proper hooligan tool!

Elmerfud and FUBAR and some others are Blackpool way so they'll probably be able to tell you some good routes to take have fun on your new toy!

I understand CCM no longer exist. Yet another 'Great' British Company gone to the wall!

A little bird has told me that it may be back in business! The Russian that bought TVR was originally sniffing around CCM, and that he may be tempted to include CCM into TVR instead of building a completely brand new bike!

For Darren,

The Trough of Bowland is a very short ride away from Morecambe, the roads around there would be ideal for a CCM.

Nice, but I'd have chosen the R30 (with the Suzuki lump ) Top bike

CCM had an idea to build a supermoto around the Sv650 lump. Shelved due to closure..... So if they open again maybe it will be back on the cards

eyup Dar,

Slingers - Suzuki, Bill Heads - Honda *spits* , Shorrocks - kwak/aprillia, Northwest Superbikes - Yamaha all in Preston.

Really good road to try while you are over is B5269 which runs from Gt Singleton > Ellswick > Inskip > Woodplumpton > Broughton > Longridge.

Also towards Blackpool is the Weeton Rd B5260, leading onto Mythop Rd which takes you onto the A583 Blackpool Rd.

Depending on how long you plan on hooning about, the A588 from Hambleton > Knott End > Glasson > Lancaster is a tremendous road.

Give me a shout with some details of your trip, wouldn't harm to extend a bit of Lancashire courtessy if i'm free

Dave
