Stolen - SV650 MiniTwins Race Bike - SV650.org

One of the MiniTwins racers has had his bike nicked less than a week after picking it up. It was stolen from Leicestershire and there is a 500 quid reward for information leading to it's return.

The chassis number is JS1AV11100102248. If you are offered any cheap race parts or spot it anwhere please call Adam on 07966 - 096 175. See http://www.akb-racing.com/ for more details.

The spec includes:

New 207gp front tyre, new stainless braided hoses, naked type master cylinder, race tech forks with black lowers, bespoke steel front fairing bracket, clocks with fibreglass repairs to reverse side, Black tank with SV650 logos, Akrapovic stainless front pipes with bespoke high level adaptor to Hindle carbon oval race can, silver finish Valter moto footrest kit, used rear 207 gp, modified subframe, Gsx-r K2 style seat in black with yellow number boards, alloy under tray, MiniTwin-Engineering GSX-R styled K3 fairing gel coated yellow top painted black and gel coated black belly unpainted.

I hope we can get it back for the poor guy as he spent the whole of last year saving up for the thing.

The subframes should be easily recognisable as is the fairing. Both are only made and sold by one guy. It doesn't help that he is still searching for the engine number but...

Everyone should buy a tracker for their bike. At least you have a chance then

I feel sorry for anyone who gets anything stolen because you just know it's going to be either sold for drug money or just simply discarded and burnt out for no reason at all.

(I'd love to leave my garage unlocked and sit in it at night and wait for some tosspot to open it up to try and nick my bike, only to be greeted by double barrels of a Benelli XM1014.

I'll keep my eyes open... Tell him to wait a week then put out requests to the online breaker services for the distinctive parts, as well. Chances are it was stolen by pros, and they'll have enough sense to ditch the unique fairings etc...
