Cheaper tyres in Southampton/Fareham/Portsmouth please! - SV650.org

I have just been quoted £260 for a new pair of BT020's to be fitted by Rob Willshire Suzuki. This seems pretty astronomical to me.
Can anyone recommend somewhere cheaper in my area - would also consider a set of Conti Road Attacks.

It's outrageous. Have a shop around and also try Patch's suggestion.

I usually use Micheldever Tyres (Protyre on Fareham is part of the same group)

Very good prices and service - always happy to haggle - IIRC I paid about £180 for a pair of 010s about 18 months ago.

Used Tyres R Us about 4 years ago, and got messed about (they twice told me they had the tyres I wanted in stock and didn't have them - I ended up getting something different fitted in the end). They might have got a lot better since then!

im currently in a quest for cheap tyres.
im after a bt010 front and a bt020 rear

cheapest i got is 245 fitted

Micheldever Tyres fitted a pair of 020's (to Mrs Patch VFR) last week for 165 fitted to loose wheels

I got some BT020's fitted. Ride in / ride out for about £175.

I think Roadwheel in Hillsea will do you BT020's for about £185. Just ask for Rus.

Cox's in Eastleigh but make sure he uses a torgue wrench when tightening the axel nuts!
