Evening all,
new to the world of sv ownership and relatively new to the site (lurking for a while). I'm looking for some help, and possibly a couple of parts! A full week after taking ownership of my 00 reg, candy grand blue little beauty I decided it was a bit too pretty and tried to give it some character by dropping it a nearby roundabout. I'm now in need of a new rhs fairing and brake pedal. I've already posted similar in the stuff wanted forum but presume far more people visit here. Also, does know anything about FUEL exhausts? ie are they any good. Cheers, Trevor |

Sorry to hear about the unprettyfying of your new bike.
It's always the same bits that get it when the bike goes down, as such it's not that common to find said parts secondhand. Unfortunately, I think that your best option will be a trip to the dealers.

You might want to consider some "crash bungs". Try a search for discussions on them, but favourites seem to be R&G or those from JHS.
They'll often considerably reduce damage in slow speed/stationary drops. |

Congratulations on your new bike, commiserations for dropping it so soon. But at least you got it over and done with quite quickly ![]() ![]() |

Thanks for the advice, and welcome, all. I figured it might involve a trip to the dealer alright. Abundance of lhs fairings around so I can only assume I'm not the only one who's found themselves in this situation.
Looks like the planned undertray and bellypan may have to wait. An end can, however, is a necessity! |
