Default New carb jets required?????

I fitted a Scorpion race end can to my SV. A friend says I should get new carb jets. Is he right? If so, what do I need to get....and is it a difficult or expensive job to do??

Please help....if help is needed

Some end cans don't need jets others do. I'd look for a shop that'll do a dyno run for you. Just a run usually costs me £10-£15- a chat with the bloke doing it should sort out whether you need some jets or not.
Changing the jets is easy.

142.5 mains, it'll run fine, and save money on a Dyno Man telling you to fit 142.5s.

Isn't 142.5 a bit big for just an end can?

Not in my experience, even on a standard bike you can improve the mid-range with larger mains.

Couldn't agree more but the last time I put 142.5 in a bike was with a akrapovic full sytem and even then it was running a bit rich. Would have thought 140 would be spot on.
