|
TL solo seat on sv650?
I have seen a few people do this before, putting a TL1000 solo seat cowl on the SV. My question is, does it fit the seat unit or do i have to mod my seat unit?

The rears are pretty different, for either TL, as far as I can remember... There are SV-specific parts that look like the SV, but I think the SV and TL rears are pretty incompatible.

I'm not 100% but I think it might fit in the fixings but not necceserily match with the flow of the rear unit ie it would look stupid and the plastic might stop it from fitting. Ive got a tls and had a curvy sv and if i remember correctly I compaired the bottom of both the pillion seats and they appeared to have the same mounting points but im not 100% on this. I will say for definate that the rear subframe on the tl is a fair bit bigger than that of the curvy.

It will not fit, the mountings are in diffrent places, ive tried, anyway it looks pants.
