Default Update - Just brought a 2000 blue faired SV!

Hurrah!

Have now brought the SV that I looked at! Paid a deposit at the weekend and hope to collect either this week or at the weekend! Can’t wait to get it home!

Scottoilier and hugger to go on asap!!

I had a huge result on the insurance quote – I’m 23, 2 years NCB, residential area, fully comp for £236! With Axa through Carole Nash. The strange thing was they wouldn’t quote on my occupation – Human Resources Manager! So they changed me to general manager and it was fine! Strange!

Probably still your age affecting you on that price... call around I expect you'll do better. I never had Carole Nash down as the cheapest for the 20-something group.

Really?!? I thought that was amazing good! Last bike I insured (Hornet 600) nobody would touch me full comp and I paid stupid money of about £600.

Those 2 years NCB will make a big difference mind. I know someone who's premium halved from £700 to £350 when they got a years NCB.

I'm hoping for the same when I come to renew

The 3 points and the writing off of a car both about 2 years ago don't help either. I should see a big drop come renewal time
