In the age old issue, the same old question...why do you want to put a 180 on the back of a SV and bugger up the handling?

-Honda CBR600F3 wheel (5.5" wide)

-Twin Works Factory in California sells the proper spacers to make it work

-There is a wheel and spacer for sale on the svrider.com site in the classified section

-The effect on handling is open to debate.

-Maybe, if you do it, you could post some pics and opinions.......

Good luck

If the bike was mean't to have a 180 section wheel on, it would have been done in the factory...

Leave it well alone IMHO

The same could very much be said for alot of mods.
Though I'm inclined to agree on this particular one.
I'd be interested to see how it actually went with it on, though

Cycle Zoo in the states do a similiar kit as well... I heard they're making up one for a SRAD rear wheel but that could be wrong.

A lot of the people with fatter rears on race bikes swear by it... I suppose it depends what you're doing with it. A hard-ridden tuned SV could probably use the grip when pulling out of corners, and with more agressive geometry the slower turn-in wouldn't neccesarily be an issue...

I can't see the point myself, but then most people probably can't see the point in doing what I've done to the bike myself so I'm in no position to talk. I'd like to try one with it done, mind...

Although I dont know what Im talking about, I do believe that even on race bikes the trend is away from fatter rears (tyres that is!).
