Yup - that's me (at least on a temporary basis).

My Insurance co. have provided me with a courtesy bike while mine gets looked at and they dropped it off this morning. Its a Hairnet 600 and according to Bikez.com it puts out 92HP.

I can't wait to get it out and give it a good going over...

I test rode one before i bought the SV and theyre a pretty decent bike to ride. The enigine is obviously nowhere near as charachterfull as the twins are but its a nice ride.

I'm sure Sythree will fill you in on all its good points as he just recently joined the Hairnet club.

Thrash it. Err i meant enjoy it.

No i mean thrash it

What are they like power wise compared to an SV? Was tempted by one, but I just HAD to get a V-twin!

I have seen said bike and was even allowed to take it for a spin. Fortunately, the hailstorm had let up.

Definitely a lot of poke there, but felt very strange. Possibly because I was wearing Matt's biking gear (yes, I know ) but mostly because I still can't get on with having to work the revs hard on an IL4 to get it to wake up. I can imagine doing some wicked wheelies on it tho.

Anyway, do remember to take the pi$$ out of it tomorrow night.

I don't often lurk on here (being nowhere near Soho) so sorry I'm a bit previous.

What did you reckon to the Hairnet then, M? As CG says you need to give it a caning to get the best out of it and then it gets a bit vibey. It's also a bit of a thirsty beast. Those 2 criticisms aside it's a fabbo machine, I think.
