Default dont ignore the signs!

so im wondering why my bike is handling like a total dog.

i'm thinking maybe its just my imagination, im new to this lark maybe im just rusty.

checked tyre pressure a couple of weeks ago, cant be that. the front seems too wooly tho, doesnt want to corner.

picked up repaired leathers from shop, think to myself i'll take it for a frap down the m27, one junction see what its like at a quikcer speed....did a few miles an hour over the legal limit, thought nope not right still.

ah sod it, check tyres again....front tyre is on 8psi

put a bit of air in, get home. check tyre find nail

and i was doing a silly speed on a tyre with basically no air in it.

trip to local tyre dealer, £75 and a new bt010 later things are rosy again.

dont ignore what your bike is telling you please!!!

Same thing here, about a month ago i was comming back from a ride out. Had already done about 20miles on the motorway, was coming up to a round about to find that i was hauling a truck arround the center lane at 30-40mph. Not funny, went as quick as i could to the fuel station just 100m away. I had 0psi in the tyre when i got there.

Its amasing that the front tyre held up with me doing a good speed.

I was later to find that the puncture would loose air very slowly at high speed and very fast at low speed such as the roundabout.

something to do with movement in the rubber and temperature in the tyres too, glad you escaped it
