so im wondering why my bike is handling like a total dog.
i'm thinking maybe its just my imagination, im new to this lark maybe im just rusty. checked tyre pressure a couple of weeks ago, cant be that. the front seems too wooly tho, doesnt want to corner. picked up repaired leathers from shop, think to myself i'll take it for a frap down the m27, one junction see what its like at a quikcer speed....did a few miles an hour over the legal limit, thought nope not right still. ah sod it, check tyres again....front tyre is on 8psi ![]() put a bit of air in, get home. check tyre find nail ![]() and i was doing a silly speed on a tyre with basically no air in it. trip to local tyre dealer, £75 and a new bt010 later things are rosy again. dont ignore what your bike is telling you please!!! |

Same thing here, about a month ago i was comming back from a ride out. Had already done about 20miles on the motorway, was coming up to a round about to find that i was hauling a truck arround the center lane at 30-40mph. Not funny, went as quick as i could to the fuel station just 100m away. I had 0psi in the tyre when i got there.
Its amasing that the front tyre held up with me doing a good speed. I was later to find that the puncture would loose air very slowly at high speed and very fast at low speed such as the roundabout.
