JESUS thats bad! another wreckles car driver on a mission to wipe us out. at least in mexico he might get more than a slap on the wrists for it.

Seeing that really brings it all home. a car came flying up my rear a year back out of nowhere doin 80 in a 30 (he was out his face). first i knew was i heard screatching behind me. looked back to see him swerve. he went flying past and hit the kerb on the other side of the road and flew into the car infront of me. wrote them both off. seein that really makes me think what could have happend if he hadn't swerved.... bad Sh*t

I'm with Burner, that is definetly the exception and not the rule. Stil sux though....

That really is a tragic incident. Some curious observations made though:

None of the motorcyclists were wearing any form of protection,(from helmet down) Not that it would have helped that much I am afraid in this case.They were cruising along at a very sedate 40km per hour on a road type that motorcycles are actually banned from apparently.
if they were filming a video to be shown on a TV programme should they have not organised it with the authorities and maybe arranged for the section of road to be closed down temporarily or even at least posted people to wave other road users down?

Of course no excuse but perhaps the car driver,(although apparently travelling at excessive speed) was caught totally by surprise when coming up on the bikes that were riding in two lanes of the road.

Horrible,horible accident though and the main guy mentioned suffered some terrible injuries.
