Default restriction kit - what a ba*tard!!!

thought i would take out my restriction kit for my 99 sv, two washers with smaller holes to restrict the fuel intake!!!
I wanted to see what the real power of the bike was like, so i took it for a spin, and my god, i loved it!!! after previosly owning a MTX125 scrambler, i was used to wheeling, so i thought i'll give it a bit of throttle, and up it goes, simple as pie!!

shame im putting it back in tomorow, only got another year and a hlaf till i can legally ride it!

what a bitch!

it revs a lot higher and sounds nice too. trust me, yourl have loads of fun, just go easy, as i ballsed my self a couple of times and it bloody hurts, might have to get a cup

I'm putting it back in today. its just i wanted to feel what the real power behind the bike was. i only took it up the road and back. im not keeping it out for a long period of time, cos if i do have an accident then i am fooked. also when i have to put the kit back in i wont be quite as dissapointed.
but i do agree with you, it shouldnt be done. there are quite a few people i know without their restriction kits in and they ride like looneys, i'll have no sympothy if they get found out.
although one good thing i did hear, was that a subru impreza went through a camera speeding, most likely with the restriction kit off, then put it back in, and said to the cops it couldnt have been him cos his car isnt capable of doing it. they let him off as well. but im not risking that, just incase.
