I did this mode today for two bucks and the results look fantastic! I got the idea from tips and tricks however I came out with something even easier. Here are the steps.
1.Unscrew your stock mirrors and unscrew the ends. You should have straight bolt and the nut. 2.Buy 5/8 pvc tubing and cut 1.5 inch x2 for each mirrors. I found there is impossibility of finding washers, which fit both the bolt and inside of the handle bars hence two tubes which act both as washers and as a pressure squeeze. 3. Old Garden hose (which I used)or any rubber tubing which would fit the bolt and the inside the bar. 4.Insert the first pvc tubing then the rubber hose then tubing, tighten the bolt enough to create resistance and insert inside the bars and turn until tight. Best looking cheap mode. http://www.svrider.com/tips/barends/P1010007.JPG |
