Default infill grills- pics -ongoing what yer opinion ? image heavy

just been hot glue gunning some ally grill into the gaps - mite look good mite not !!..

had to remove all panels etc..so heres' some pics....and of the bike in bits- well nakey !!.....will take some of it all back together- hopefully this afto- after the carpet fitter has been !! who shudda been here at 12 o'clock !! -

Wife wanna too happy aboot me bike bits in the lounge - hey Kim- WHATEVER !! don't tell her I said that !

There we are- will pop it all back together ( with cursing and scuffed knuckles) and then show a pic of before and after side by side..

opinions please..oh I have done similar with the gap in my standard chain guard- looks good- just wud like your thoughts on whether u think it "safe" or advisale to have potentially loose grill behind the guard and near to the chain?? it is totally secure..

it was from halfords
only thin stuff...very pliable- its called daves meshing or summat liek that was only about a quid 50 for about an A4 size...2 sheets doen the lot- oh and the glue gun but i had that already for my card making(shhh hobby craft boy!) glue guns are only a tenner anyway ..

NB- at this juncture- carpet man has not been yet !!!

Yep very nice. Dont think it cud cause any hazard as long as you keep the loose bits as short as possible.
But I suppose you have to make sure it stays free of muc and insects else it may block teh flow of ait to the engine?

aha will do-
I always clean it after every rideout..

it is only used for pleasure - not commuting- hence it is clean

plus I had a big OFF and had all new panels 8 mnths ago so it looks like new..I am however obsessive about it being clean-- shame I have no gargae though- its a pain covering it up..

gonna put it bak 2 gether now and take some pics- weather here is ace...

been cutting my hedge - 30ft -- knackered (long not high !!)

oh carpet man now coming tommorrow-!! great eh !! day off espesh and now I gotta leave key with the neighbour for tomoz !!

oh done the front in vents too so it shud look good..

oh guys n gals- but for now--- I am gonna get a cold beer and the paper and half an hour here at the end of my garden ...

TRUE BLISS !!!

scuse the tarp- thats wot i using to catch the hedge cuttings..
right - beer /paper/ and then bike back 2 gether methinks

see - one advantage of no garage on a psh estate- is a decent 40 foot garden and loads of character !

Looks pretty good

If opnly someone can tell me how to paint them without all the paint scratching off

Guess I'll have to go for the stock silver colour.
