ANOTHER DERBY SV'er

Been visiting the site for a few weeks, having got my X plate half-faired baby a couple of months ago. Thought it long overdue to say hello to the locals.

Returned to the biking fold a couple of years ago after a long absence, when my lad turned old enough to start biking (god I feel old). Got an old Honda NTV to get me back into things. Liked the V-twin but wanted something newer and a bit sportier so the SV was the only real option (despite being sorely tempted by my mate selling his CBR600) and thaty's what I bought in March.

I love the SV's handling - went back to see my folks in Lancs via the Cat & Fiddle last weekend. Grinned all the way. Sounds lovely with the race can on but it's not declared on the insurance so I swapped it back to standard (plus it woke the missus and neighbours up early in the mornin when I set off for work).

With 3 kids, a missus who works a lot of evenings / weekends, and a job involving a lot of travel I don't get that much time for rideouts, but have earmarked June 5th (seems a few are riding down on the Sunday?) and hope to get out to meet you local lads from time to time.

Anyway I'll stop blabbering and sign off (lunch hours nearly done anyway).
