So,
I've a twin carbon underseat renegade system ![]() ![]() I tried wirewool attached to a dremel and the autoglym metal polish on my current rene high level but i wasn't 100% happy with the results (plus it took forever and scratched). Tips and hints please! thanks |

I think WD40 and a rag is also a good idea on MY Rene's.

A 3m Scotchbrite pad is like voodoo when you're bringing up dodgy metalwork... You can get them in any Homebase, they're not cheap compared to steel wool but work superbly, and last for ages.

go to hein gericke and buy one of their polishing kits for 16 quid, and attach it to a drill, dean (carlesschucca) or one of the other ecosse posse will be along to tell you how shiny mines turned out
![]() and trust me, it looked like it had been sunk in a tank of salty water for a year previous to using it |
