Remus Grand Prix Exhaust

Hi all!

Just bought an 02 sv650s last thursday and i've been having plenty of fun on it since. its unbelievably superior in every department compared to my old s reg gs500. I would however like to get more out of the v-twin (in terms of sound) and so would like an aftermarket can in the near future.

My sisters boyfriend has got a fzr 600 which he is px-ing for a new sprint st and he's offered me his remus grand prix can for free. not one for passing on any freebies i am very tempted but I havent a clue whether it will be compatible with my sv, or if not, any way of making it compatible.

I'd appreciate any advice on this and exhausts in general - thanks!

I used to have a remus GP, very loud great build quality, in terms of fitting to your SV you will need a link pipe, contact remus or Hein Grieke they will offer a price etc,

got a hein gericke catalogue somewhere, i'll dig it out and have a look.

Dont expect a link pipe to be cheap either.. i think they go for £60 ish quid...

I have a Venom link pipe which I'll know if I need by the end of the week. If I don't need it for fitting the R1 exhaust you can have it for postage.
