I never name in-animate objects, although I call my car's SAT NAV voice Charlene.
Bike hasn't got a name, except BIKE.

the SV.

Call our cars the Mondao and Michelles (Daughter), eg the answer to the question "Which car?"

Unless you have multiple identical objects, they don't need names. They are what they are!

I suppose if a bike had a gender, it must be female as the do tend to be moody, high maintenance, and always wanting tarting up. The SV especially "Does my bum look big in this?" Yes! get a new backside.

I think you'll find the name and gender yourself as you get more familiar with your bike.

All of mine have been male (cars and bikes) until the MGB and the SV - (named Red and Black respectively) both of which are female.
