Default Whoa Hooo! I'm Back!

Hi All the old stagers who will remember my inane postings from days of yore.... and hi to all the new guys I ain't met yet.

After two years off the road due to redundancy and subsequent lack of cash (managed to hang on to the bike) I have now just insured my bike ready to go back on the road.

But here is the problem, I have the twin Renegade hi-levels that are not road-legal..... and I need an MOT. Should I just try to wing it or re-fit the old standard pipe? or is there anywhere 'sympathetic' to bikers in N. Wales that will check the important bits on a bike and not worry too much about a sexy exhaust note? Does anyone know if N. Wales coppers are still red hot on loud exhausts etc?

Let me know what you all think

Mike

No one got any suggestions on where to go for MOT in N. Wales or N. East?

I picked up a Beowulf removable baffle for my MOT... Didn't do the trick by itself, so I bunged it up with a load of exhaust putty and that quietened things down a bit It was £11 at a show IIRC. Could be a good option for you.
