Default K4 SV650 toasts new porsche turbo

Not fully familiar with the porsche range (its so bloody complex) but some sort of porsche turbo (definitely not a normal 911, this was the whole deal, the wide body, the whole works) it was less than 2 years old i think if i remember, lines up at the lights on the a41 coming from hendon towards town with a black sv650 and they both tear off, unfortunately i was stuck in the work car (so-so 170bhp golf tdi), not on my bike, so wasnt in the running at all :P just here to give a big thumbs up to the sv rider who taught the porsche nicely! porsche couldnt beat him from a standing start in a straight long run on a perfectly straight long safe 3 lane empty road! got a nice grin out of it! just wondered if it was anyone here :P

The same thing happened to me in Sevenoaks at traffic lights, They must like the black ones. I love making people look stupid.

Is that why you let james loose on your bike? (sorry sorry)

Righty.

I would never race a lamborghini down the A40, officer
(He looked at me and couldnt believe it, backed off from around 80ish because of a speed camera, it all happened very quickly.)

Well at least he offered to help, just didn't know it would involve a bread knife.

Give me a porshe turbo, i'll see a SV form the lights. Just becuse these people have the cars, dont exactly mean they can drive them does it now!

Power to wieght of a 996turbo (Water cooled) is around 390bhp per tonne, the sv is about 800 or there abouts. To 100, the SV would be in the weeds

Not if I was driving! The standard Turbo will hit 60 in 4 seconds dead if driven correctly but with the Aerokit package(460BHP) it will do it in 3.7 seconds, it's quicker than a Lamborghini Mucielago in a 1 mile drag race.

The car in question was probably a 911 carrera 4S, all the looks, no spoiler though, but not the power of a Turbo.
