I've got one of these and it's very good. I shall be selling it shortly as my bike has been written off.
If it's a K3+ then you don't need a power commander as the FI system will compensate automatically

cheers

Yep, me too. Had an oval one on my 2000 naked sv650 (now in some other b.....ds hands as it was nicked!!!) and I never had to touch the fuelling. However, although it didn't sound as good with the baffle in I SWEAR that it ran better than without

I have a scorpion can on my K3 and it sounds very nice. I highly recommend it if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

Hmmm. Opposite to me. I haven't touched the fuelling and I normally run without the baffle. Had to put it back in for the MOT and it felt strangled and less eager. Might just be in my head but I reckon mine runs sweeter sans baffle.

I have a Scorpion Can - and it gets good comments from most people. No idea if it does anything for performance - I'm told the Stock Can can be put back on without and engine adjustments.

the scorpion is a great can it really brings out the low burble of the v twin,
and as scoobs said i know it runs better without the baffle as i put it in every morning when i go to work (5 oclock!) to stay friends with the neighbours and then 500yards down the road the allen key comes out and so does the baffle there is a noticable difference to performance,
with the baffle in my k3 feels strangled and without you can feel the engine free up and it really feels like its breathing better!
the sound also makes you ride faster CUZ IT'S GREAT!!!!!

Agree with the above comments. The sound is superb and its definitely better without the baffle. I keep mine in if im going to work as i dont want to wake the neighbours in the morning but if im off on a rideout, i just pop the baffle out and under the seat.

If you're getting one i suggest you get some ear plugs or it'll certainly damage your hearing.
