Default Suspension tuning help please

Just been for another ride this evening (as per most Sundays )

What I am finding is that the more my confidence grows and I get used to the SV, I am going into corners faster and on longer bends the bike is slightly wollowy. Now, I'm not a small lad at 14 stone without my leathers on so I can only asume that I may need to adjust my suspension a bit.

I am also finding that the front end is diving alot under hard breaking. what springs are recomended and how hard are they to fit?

My bike is a K3 with 3k on the clock so is still fairly fresh.

Can someone please advise me what settings to adjust the suspension to.

Cheers guys

As far as preload goes, with the stock bits I just did it by trial and error- you've got so little adjustment that you can't go far wrong.

If you're changing parts you've got a lot of options... I'm just over 10 stone in my pants, and I used Ohlins .80s (er, I think) and 15W oil. The springs suited, but the oil was a little thick- if I'd kept it for much longer I would have changed it for 12.5W I think. That setup's a bit stiffer than is generally recommended but I liked it. There's loads of places to get springs- WP, Ohlins, Hagon, Progressive, Racetech, Sonic, and others too numerous to mention.

The actual fitment's straightforward- you need to suspend the front somehow, but that's the hardest bit. Dead easy if you have an ABBA or similiar stand, or an understem front stand. You could do it with a normal paddock stand and a jack but you'd need to be a bit brave But it's really as simple as take forks out, take hte tops off, remove springs, empty out oil, put in new oil, put in new springs, put forks back together.
