Specs has been around for ages. Tehre is currently a 20mph set up on lower thames street. I dont think that they are going to put them in gatso boxes as specs needs to be forward facing i believe.

Also Tower Bridge has had a 20mph SPECS system for a year or so now.

It's great how they put so much investment into forward facing cameras ...

Wasn't this the one they have abandoned because they put the 20mph zone in the wrong place and had to refund all the fines that were issued?

Eep! I've been using lower thames street since aldgate has been shut, is the specs there active? I've seen the signs that tell you how fast you're going, but are there cameras??

Yup/ Its between the tunnel and London bridge. Been active for a while, bau as said, it cant get bikes

There's 20mph SPECS cameras on Tower Bridge itself. I hate having to crawl over it at 20mph in the car.

Has anyone got a ticket from this one though? I didn't know (until this thread) that there was a speed camera there and have bombed it across there in the car many a time.
