Default High Level, Pillion Mod

Asked by Bobit69 about my High level pillion mod I did,
So here are the photo's and how 2's... easy really.

Made up 2 x Spacers 1) 75mm Long X 26mm Outside Dia, with a 8mm Drilled hole through the middle
and 2) 70mm Long (for the exhaust bracket to fit behind) X 26mm Outside Dia, with a 8mm Drilled hole.
Material used is Aluminium Bar 26mm.

The exhaust bracket is a piece of Aluminium tube for a kid's cloths rail crushed at both ends with a 8mm hole drilled in and shaped (rounded off)
Think I might secure the exhaust bracket behind the peg bracket and bolt it in possition, might make it look better.

Just showing the amount of distance between footpeg and exhaust..

Hope this helps...
Richie

Wouldn't have worked on mine either. It's not held on with a band but buy a solid metal bracket on the back of the can.

My point exactly... It'd have worked if I'd have raised the back end like yours Rich, but then the bracket wouldn't fit

Anyway... Bothered I'm SV-less now

What a good design, I'll think I'll make one similar.

Think it'll be a lot stronger than your current configuration too

Default scorpion hl

Scorpion High Level comes with the pillion adapter kit :P Also not too pricy. At about £185 for the high level including kit . . it's the poor man's option. comes with a baffle though? Not sure why . . luckily, a 10 second job to remove . . .
