Default K3 rear shock on 2000 model???

simple question, will it fit, if not can it be made to fit??

no, the spring is to wide and will hit the side of the swing arm. Someone on SVrider tried it and failed. Pre SRAD stuff or the newer ZX6 shocks, but they will need more modding such as the battery being moved under the rear seat, but on the plus side the ZX6 shocks are much newer than SRAD ones.

IIRC changing the dogbones can move the hock enough to make the spring fit. And you'd want to do that anyway I think since the shock is shorter. Then you only have to ask yourself why you'd go to all that effort to put another cheap junk shock in your bike.
