Default Ermax undertray

Bought an Ermax undertray, not fitted yet. I have noticed people don't have much good to say about it, just wondering if anyone has any positive views on this mod.

Cheers

Have you got the one with the flush indicators? If so i'm sorry to say i'm looking at changing mine cos the indicators are all but invisible - my mate who was following me on a rideout noticed this when i suddenly took an exit off a roundabout and he had no idea I was turning - i was indicating at the time...

I've also heard some gripes about build quality, but this was on the K3/4 - i have a K5 and it's a different undertray, different fittings etc due to the change in battery storage layout & stuff. Only about 1000 miles on it so far so I'm yet to see how it lasts.

I have the one with the triangle indicators stuck on the underside. I'm a little worried about having to change it down the line because the instructions say you have to trim the original to get the ermax one to fit. The reason I bought it was because I've got a high level exhaust and it saved the bother of worrying about stick indicators. If you can suggest an alternative I may try and get a refund.

Cheers

A lot of people on here have used the hamicad tail tidy which does a great job, not sure whether there'd be an issue with the high level pipe though.

Also it's worth knowing that Ermax do make the same undertray without the indicators, then all you need is a bracket to fit your plate & indicators onto - an exchange might be easier to negotiate than a refund, as there's technically nothing wrong with the one you bought...

Just my thoughts on it, I'm sure other people have fitted & been very happy with the undertray you have.

I don't really do a terrible lot of miles anyway so I might not find the indicators too much of a problem, at least it looks the part. I can't wait to get it and my full system on, should be happy with the looks and noise. Thanks again for the help.
