Default ticking

hi all
even though i've asked quite a few silly questions i'll ask another one cos when i did a search for it there were different answers

the bike has developed a light ticking noise which is quietish when idling but louder when coming off the throttle at about 6k rpm
what is it and is it something to worry about
bike is a 2005 with about 800miles on it

I dont know what that might be

being its a K5 and you've barely run it in, I would take it back to your dealer and get it looked at, its probably nothing to worry about but you wanna get your mind put at rest IMHO

Check oil level.

I've never bothered with noise....remember you are sitting on the engine so it's not quiet.
