Default K4 swinging arm on 2000 SV Naked Curvy

Just wondered if anybody had tried to fit a K4 swinging arm onto the earlier curvy SV's.

i think the opinion is that its not worth it as the curvey swingarm is better and more rigid than the pointy ones.

Thats what i herd.

But will it fit with the curvy's shock, frame mounting and wheel, brake caliper etc? My curvy swinging arm has seen better days and I have a K4 swinging arm in excelent condition that cost me £5 c/w spindle, chain adjusters, swinging arm bolt. Ridgidity isn't really a problem, its a winter bike so not been riden like a gp bike and surely they cant be that poor in comparison! manufacturers are supposed to improve with development?

Brake caliper is diffrent there may be an issue with the shock mount (not sure though) but the shocks were diffrent between curvey and pointy.
