Default Paint code?

Hi all,
Got a small crack on the nearside fairing around the indictor that I’ve been meaning to sort for 12 months. Looking at the weather I think this is an ideal time to finally sort it. The job will include a paint job.
The first thing the body shop will ask for is the paint code. Will they be able to access it from the chassis number, or will I have to supply a specific code? I seem to remember reading through my ‘bumph’ 12 months ago and reading the words “lively yellow” – but having read through my file half a dozen times tonight, I’m buggered if I can find it now – typical – Any advise please…..

Do you mean Pearl Lively Yellow?

There is a sticker under your tank and the paint code is on that, Y9H is the code for Lively.

If you still have your Warranty Record (the service stamp book), it's on the first page of that too, just incase the tank sticker is gone.

HTH.

Yes - from memory that name sounds familiar. Nothing in the warranty / service book - it was omitted. I didn't know about the sticker and haven't noticed it even though I've had the tank up more than a few times. As the bike has yet to see rain, I hope the sticker is still in position and I legible. Thanks very much for that - cheers appreciated........
