Default Crash bungs on a curvy

Has anyone fitted crash bungs to a fully faired curvy?
If so which bungs would you recommend and did you need to modify the fairing to get them on?
All advice welcome, cheers.

i know you need to do a little cutting to get the R&G crash bungs fitted to a curvey, but i am unsure just how "little" it is. Unless R&G have made a new setup for the curvey as well now

sorry i can't be of more help

yep the new model of R&Gs do not need any cutting on either the pointy or curvey bikes.

me has just fitted them..they are ace...!!

no cutting etc of fairing at all...
I have some pics..will post them.....

TOP TIP THOUGH !!......... DONT ORDER DIRECT FROM R AND G

you get charged the post and pack..order from a dealer...and they incur that cost so its only £70 to you.!!!

will post me pics in a min- if I can find em...
they good for restin ya knees on too.!!

simple to fit....provided yer nuts aint too locked up!!......just take out the main engine bar and pop the new one in and then the bungs etc and tighten em up... 15 min job ....

Obviously, no lower fairings- don't like 'em myself- but that should giv you an idea of how they work. The jury seems to be out on just how effective they are, though. I tested 'em and they worked, and pretty well too...

But the R&G spare parts are incredibly expensive. £30 plus postage for a bung and bolt- and add to that that the bolts are obviously designed to bend, to help absorb the impact, and even a small drop could be expensive. Because of that, I've got a set in the garage that needs a new bolt and bung for one side, and the bung on the other side is scratched up from a no-speed fall...
