SV K3 Lowers question - SV650.org

Quick question, if I fit 'Suzuki' lowers to my K3, would I have to lose to RnGs I have currently? They are the sort that bolt through the engine block.

If you have the old style with the cups that hold the bung then you will have to either cut the lowers or get rid of them. If you get the new R&G bungs then they will fit properly to the ouside of the lowers without needing any cutting.

Yes, unfortunately. The lowers have the hole in a very weird position so need a different set of R&Gs that bolt on to an adapter that is hidden behind the lowers, there's a good pic on the R&G website.

That's a yes!! Just done it myself the other week, sold my old bungs so managed to get some money off the new one's!! Would shop around for prices, i got mine from steve jordon motorcycles, got a discount from the owners wife, she's a member on this very site!!
