Default GP to WSB

I never noticed anything about this earlier, but Ruben Xaus and Alex Barros have both said they are leaving MotoGP to ride in WSB this year, and Casey Stoner has got the ultimate ride with Honda

Well a major fall from grace for Xaus after being rookie of the year in 2004! Barros has won such a small number of races for how many he has ridden and the 15 years he has been in the top flight.

Bring in the new guys I say. The only reason for staying with a more "mature" rider is if they have proven to be competitive. That is why I believe although he will not win the championship this year...Sete could provide a genuine threat to the likes of Rossi and Melandri.

busa..I agree with you. The opportunity was offered to Rossi for the romantic dream ticket of a ride for massive money with Ducati, but the little sh*t turned it down.

Si...I have my diplomatic moments you know?!

Kwak....At Jerez in November Sete was lapping to within 3 hundredths of a second of Loris on both qualifying and race tyres. This was on the latest race bike the GP6 and is pretty good going when you consider he is only getting used to the whole package,(motor, frame and suspension plus most importantly tyres) which is VERY different from what he was using with Honda.

I think the next tests in Malaysia this month should see him progress even more.

I'm sure he had a good reason?
