Tyres in Herts? - SV650.org

Can anyone recommend a good place for tyres in Hertfordshire? Am looking at getting some Z6's fitted within the next few months

Well I live in Barnet and I find it worth it to go to Essential Rubber in N1.
Always do a good deal there.

Try Bob's tyres at Stevenage Tel 01438 724444.
He's runs a GSX-R himself so he knows bikes.

I use Bob's - he is pretty quick and reaonably priced - last time I went for new rubber he talked me out of it and said "Come back in 2 months - you have a few more miles in them!"

Do watch your rims though. I am not sure, but I think they scratched one set on mine - though I must admit I am not sure it happened there.

Cheers Red ones.........i am a lil wary of the rims getting scratched especially as they are black.......will have a talk with him anyway

TC3 If you are in Stevenage have you tried the Stevenage and District MCC http://www.stevenagemotorcycleclub.org/ It'll cost a fiver to join which gives a discount, usually 10% at quite a few outlets including Bob's Tyres. I bought a chain and sprockets from Bike Stop and the discount more than paid my membership.
