Default Skidmarx Screen

I just picked up a Skidmarx double bubble screen at the bike show yesterday, and fitted it today. But it doesn't seem to let the outside of the fairing and the inside of the dash come right together at the top abpve the mirrors, so now there's a gap!Comparing to the original screen, the top lugs are slightly 'doglegged', whearas the Skidmarx one is just flat.

The packaging said K3/K4, and mine's a K6. Anyone know if the screen has changed on the K5/K6 at all? Or are these screens just a rubbish fit anyway?

no they have not changed they are just a rubbish fit as are the airblade & ermax ones, you can cut the top plastic lug of the bike but then you will never be able to screw it in at the top again.

thats the reason i never brought one yesterday at the show, i know what the fit is like , i believe fabbrii *sp* via motrax are the best fit & only £50 too.

I bought a double bubble from skidmarx at the bike show too.

I said, 3 times, that it needed to be for a Y reg, 2001 model. 3 times I said that. count em... 3.

Got it home, triedx to fit it, holes in all the wrong places because he's given me a K3 screen.

I called them and had a rant, they said to send it back and they'd send me a new one.

Sent it back, haven't had my screen yet, nearly 3 weeks.

I will never buy anything from them again.
