Default GSXR1000K5 rear shock on a SV650K1?

Hello

Simple question Can it be fitted?

I know I have to cut and customize, but I've searched the forum and can't seem to find an exact answer to my question...

Nop, it will touch the swing arm as the spring is too wide. You need a GSXR SRAD shock (old and many high millage but can be rebuilt) or the newer ZX636 or ZX10 shocks.

If you go for the ZX636 shock then the B1H model are easier to fit but the A1P will work fine.

The A1P shock will need the battery to be relocated to under rear seat while the B1H will not, but it will need a block spacer to raise it off the top of the shock.

Pitty, but thx for the precise answer.. I'll look for kawa shocks then
